About the role#
We are looking for Software Engineering Interns to join our team in Lisle, Illinois for the Summer 2027 term. This program runs for 10 to 12 weeks starting in May. You will work on-site with other interns and experienced engineers on projects related to telecommunications technology.
What you'll do#
- Develop software under the guidance of a mentor.
- Work on algorithm development and optimization.
- Write research papers.
- Collaborate with team members on technical projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with Git and GNU/Linux software development and toolchains.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity.
- Understanding of Microsoft software applications.
- Interest in networking, security, and vulnerability research.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Preferred: A GPA of 3.0 or higher, previous internship or work experience, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
