Risk Control Engineer Intern

About the role#

As a Risk Control Engineer Intern, you will support the maintenance and evaluation of transaction risk control strategies. This role involves working with large datasets to identify abnormal transaction behaviors and ensuring the stability of risk control systems within a global financial services environment.

What you'll do#

• Monitor daily transaction risk control strategies and maintain relevant data dashboards.
• Process and extract large volumes of business data to identify potential risk features.
• Track the effectiveness of risk control strategies, specifically monitoring interception rates and false positive rates.
• Organize daily risk control data and contribute to the drafting of risk analysis reports and periodic updates.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as an undergraduate or postgraduate student.
• Academic background in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or Big Data.
• Proficiency in SQL for database extraction and Excel for data processing.
• Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on logical thinking and detail-oriented problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
