About the role#
As a Test Engineering Intern, you will work within the Advanced Technologies group to support the development and implementation of engineering solutions. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Lynchburg, Virginia. You will work on-site, contributing to projects that support our nuclear environment initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Develop and deliver engineering solutions for nuclear environments.
- Create and update technical drawings and procedures.
- Design, test, and analyze system components.
- Manage specific project tasks.
- Procure materials as needed to support project requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Physics, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.

- Location: Lynchburg, Virginia.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $25.05 - $31.83 per hour.
