About the role#
As an Aftermarket Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the daily functions of the service organization at Butler Machinery. This role offers exposure to service administration, customer communication, and cross-functional projects. You will contribute to operational efficiency while developing business skills in a professional setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist the service department with scheduling tasks, customer communication, and the review and closing of work orders.
- Support daily operations by maintaining accurate records, documentation, and administrative processes.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to maintain positive customer relationships.
- Take part in projects aimed at improving service processes and overall customer satisfaction.
- Provide administrative support for department initiatives and special projects.
- Promote the vision and values of the company in your daily work.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Proficiency with computers is essential, specifically with PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site at our corporate office in Fargo, North Dakota.
- The role is paid and full-time.
- The term is rolling.
- You will work 15 to 25 hours per week during the school year with full-time availability during breaks.
