About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in the Butler Machinery Warranty Department. You will support daily operations and gain insight into equipment registration, warranty administration, and vendor credit processes. You will work closely with the Parts, Sales, and Service teams to ensure business processes run smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Process and track warranty coverage billing based on vendor requirements.
- Reconcile and settle warranty credits from vendors.
- Register newly sold machines for warranty coverage in the business system.
- Answer warranty-related questions for the Parts, Sales, and Service departments.
- Assist with ongoing projects and process improvements for the department.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Agricultural Business, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- You are detail-oriented and can manage multiple tasks at once.
Location & details#
- This role is based at our corporate office in Fargo, North Dakota. It is an on-site position.
- The schedule requires 15 to 20 hours per week during the school year with full-time availability during breaks.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
