About the role#
As a Gleaner Tech Van Operations Intern, you will support harvest service operations by managing inventory, parts administration, and warranty processes. The Tech Van acts as a mobile command center for AGCO, traveling to support farmers during the harvest season. You will work alongside specialists to ensure the team has the necessary parts and documentation to maintain equipment in the field.
What you'll do#
- Process and maintain repair order documentation and service records.
- Coordinate the ordering, receipt, and filing of parts.
- Submit and track parts warranty claims.
- Assist the Tech Van team with daily administrative and operational tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Agriculture, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn as part of a team.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in agricultural equipment are preferred.
- Ability to travel full-time during the harvest season.
- Ability to work in outdoor agricultural environments, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks like bending, reaching, and handling materials.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Duluth, Georgia.
- The term for this position is Summer 2027.
- This role is on-site and requires full-time travel during the harvest season.
