About the role#
AGCO Corporation is hiring an Environmental, Health & Safety Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Hesston, Kansas. You will work directly with our EHS team to support safety programs and facility compliance.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and implementation of safety programs and procedures.
- Assist with ergonomic assessments and improvement initiatives to create a safer work environment.
- Participate in safety and environmental audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Review, update, and develop employee training materials.
- Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and workplace evaluations to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to commute to the Hesston, Kansas facility daily.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- An interest in environmental health and safety practices, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Previous internship, co-op, campus leadership, or relevant part-time work experience is preferred.
