About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with manufacturing logistics and supply chain operations. You will work on-site in Ripon, Wisconsin, to support plant operations and improve resource management. This is a full-time, paid position that offers exposure to the daily processes of a machinery manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Collect and analyze inventory and sales data.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Track material flow for raw and semi-finished goods.
- Maintain detailed transaction records and verify inventory counts.
- Correct system errors related to inventory moves, bill of material errors, and ECN changes.
- Assist with process improvement projects.
- Analyze inventory data to improve stock levels, accuracy, and rotation.
- Communicate with manufacturing, scheduling, buyers, and purchasing teams.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, with occasional walking, standing, stooping, bending, and minimal lifting.
