About the role#
As an Analytics Intern, you will work with our analytics team to uncover trends, solve problems, and influence key business decisions. You will gain exposure to claims and adjuster workflows while building technical and professional skills. This is a paid, full-time internship for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in a one-week orientation to start your experience.
- Present a capstone project to company executives.
- Gain hands-on exposure to claims and adjuster workflows.
- Attend professional development workshops and leadership roundtables.
- Contribute to the community through volunteer opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, or Economics.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and December 2028.
- Practical experience from school, work, or other projects.
- Demonstrable leadership experience through clubs, group projects, or class engagement.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team player and take initiative.
- High-level analytical capabilities and a drive for critical thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SQL, R, or Python.
Location & details#
- Location: Raleigh, North Carolina.
- Duration: 10 weeks.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (onsite three days a week).
- Commitment: 37.5 hours per week.
