About the role#
As a co-op in the Advanced Manufacturing and Global Operations Excellence division, you will support manufacturing engineering technologies across multiple operational plants. You will work alongside full-time team members to gain hands-on experience in a professional manufacturing setting. This role is a full-time, paid position based in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, for the Summer and Fall 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Management, Manufacturing, Automation, Quality, and Process Engineers.
- Interact with and program automation equipment, including robots, PLCs, and servos.
- Collect and analyze data from operational equipment to improve process costs.
- Use tools such as Power BI, SQL, MS Azure Suite, and CAD for project analysis.
- Assist with simulation work and 3D printing tasks.
- Present your findings and recommendations to operational management.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a relevant degree.
- Minimum second semester sophomore status with at least 48 completed credits.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the co-op term.
- Capability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Permanent US Work Authorization. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

- Compensation: $18.00 to $27.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and business needs.
