About the role#
CTI Audit Solutions is looking for a Specific Stop Loss Claim Auditor Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on experience in healthcare claims administration, reimbursement methodologies, and audit processes. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help self-funded health plan sponsors reduce claim expenses.
What you'll do#
- Assist with reviewing and auditing specific stop loss claim submissions.
- Validate claim documentation and supporting records for completeness and accuracy.
- Analyze medical and pharmaceutical claims data.
- Identify claim discrepancies, overpayments, and audit findings.
- Use Excel and other Microsoft Office applications to organize, analyze, and report data.
- Prepare client reports and audit summaries.
- Maintain the confidentiality of protected health information and sensitive client data.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college sophomore pursuing a degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Public Health.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Location & details#
- This position is fully remote within the United States.
- The role is paid at $19.00 per hour.
- This is a part-time position with a rolling term, approximately 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
