About the role#
Brewer Science is looking for a Quality Engineer Intern to join the team in Rolla, Missouri. This is a part-time position requiring 15 to 20 hours per week. You will support our quality and manufacturing engineering teams by analyzing process data and maintaining documentation to improve manufacturing performance.
What you'll do#
- Work with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to implement and maintain SPC practices.
- Manage specification sheets for raw materials, intermediate materials, and finished products.
- Update documentation to maintain the health of the Quality Management System.
- Reduce scrap by identifying trends in product and process data.
- Compile and analyze data to create packages for change control and customer notifications.
- Participate in company intern program activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program within a STEM field.
- Preferred majors include Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or Materials Science.
