About the role#
Brewer Science is looking for a Materials Research Lab Assistant Intern to join our team in Chandler, Arizona. This is a paid, on-site internship that offers hands-on experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work and wants to contribute to research and development projects.
What you'll do#
You will take ownership of small development sub-projects as assigned. Your daily work includes designing and conducting experiments, which involves operating instruments, preparing samples, and characterizing performance. You will process data, provide analysis summaries, and communicate findings to your supervisor and team members. Additionally, you will create new testing processes and improve upon existing ones.
What you'll need#
We accept applications from current high school students who are at least 18 years old, high school graduates, or students currently enrolled in an associate, bachelor's, or master's degree program. We prefer candidates studying Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. You should have a genuine interest in the semiconductor industry and demonstrate an ownership mentality.

This role is located in Chandler, AZ. It is an on-site, full-time position with a rolling term. Please note that we do not provide sponsorship for this role.
