About the role#
The Provisional Service Technician Intern role is a two-year program designed for students pursuing an associate degree in diesel technology. You will combine classroom instruction with hands-on work to master technical concepts related to agricultural machinery. This is a full-time, paid internship that requires dealer sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Complete two years of instructor-led classroom and lab training while maintaining at least a 2.7 GPA.
- Meet all requirements of the Student Tech program.
- Work toward achieving a minimum 50% labor performance rating.
- Remove, disassemble, and recondition machine components.
- Keep your work area clean and organized.
- Assist senior technicians and complete necessary service reports.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver license.
- Fundamental knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrains, air conditioning, and electrical systems.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs repeatedly.
- Current enrollment or plans to enroll in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Agriculture engineering programs.

- Compensation: $14.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience.
