About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will join a team of audit experts to gain exposure to diverse industries, including Blockchain, Financial Services, Real Estate, and Nonprofit. You will be paired with a personal coach and buddy to support your professional development as you explore career paths in public accounting.
What you'll do#
- Participate in comprehensive Assurance training led by the Learning & Development team and firm leaders.
- Learn and perform audit procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements by examining records and documentation.
- Assist in testing the effectiveness of client internal control systems to ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Engage in regional intern events and executive speaker sessions.
- Collaborate with fellow interns on a project to demonstrate your acquired knowledge and skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics program with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Expected graduation date between July 2027 and December 2029.
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing CPA licensure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to start the internship in January 2027.
