About the role#
As a Tax Intern at BPM LLP, you will join a team of tax experts and gain exposure to diverse industries including Blockchain, Financial Services, Real Estate, and Nonprofit. You will be paired with a personal coach and buddy to support your professional growth as you explore public accounting.
What you'll do#
- Apply critical analysis to data to prepare tax returns and work papers.
- Identify, research, and evaluate complex tax issues to provide insights to seniors and managers.
- Update your knowledge of tax laws, regulations, IRS guidelines, and court precedents.
- Participate in training programs and work toward the CPA designation.
- Engage in regional intern events, executive speaker sessions, and collaborative intern projects.
What you'll need#
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing or obtaining a CPA certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to start on January 7, 2027.
- Availability to work at least 30 hours per week from February through April.

- Schedule: 20 hours per week in January, increasing to 30 hours per week from February through April.
