About the role#
Our Supply Chain Co-op program offers students a chance to gain hands-on experience within our Global Supply Chain organization. You will work on a mix of strategic projects and daily operations, gaining an inside look at how we manage supply chain disciplines. Throughout the program, you will connect with senior leadership, network with other co-ops, and apply your classroom knowledge to real-world business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Procure electrical and mechanical commodities by sourcing, evaluating quotations, and participating in supplier meetings.
- Analyze supply-demand alignment, assess supplier risk, and report on industry trends.
- Support semiconductor supply chain activities, including component evaluation and delivery tracking.
- Assist the NPI Program Management team with BOM reviews and accessory part management.
- Manage and maintain the corporate cost-reduction database and KPI dashboards for leadership.
- Create training modules and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Report analytics on commodity spend, savings, and purchase price variance.
- Plan product supply, analyze forecasted demand, and resolve supply chain gaps.
- Update business forecasts in the Saphran system and coordinate input for automotive forecasting.
- Drive initiatives for safety returns processes and field performance management.
- Analyze global product returns, repairs, and remanufacturing data to deliver operational insights.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Business major with a Supply Chain concentration or an Industrial Engineering major.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn technical systems quickly.
- Experience with PowerBI, SAP, or SharePoint is a plus.
