About the role#
Apple's operations teams manage the transition from product design to delivery. These teams work between product groups, component suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure products are available globally. Interns will work within one of several operational functions, including supply chain planning, reseller operations, logistics, or retail fulfillment.
What you'll do#
- Forecast product demand and analyze production requirements.
- Allocate global supply across distribution channels and influence sales projections.
- Shape global allocation and new product introduction strategies for the reseller channel.
- Manage logistics activities such as procurement, supplier management, freight planning, and launch strategy execution.
- Oversee packaging program control and supply chain scalability.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external regional partners.
- Manage inventory operations to improve efficiency within retail stores.
- Drive process improvements that bridge operations and retail functions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Graduation date of December 2026 or later.
- Ability to return to school following the internship.
- Availability for the Summer or Fall 2027 term.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage high volumes of information and varying workloads.
- Prior experience through internships, projects, teaching assistant roles, or previous employment.
- Majors in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management are preferred.
