About the role#
The Supply Chain Intern will join the purchasing team at the Arden, North Carolina campus. This role focuses on developing processes to improve efficiency, performing data analysis, and assisting with audit preparation. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Develop and support processes within the purchasing team to reduce time-consuming activities.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, verify solutions, and support decision-making.
- Support internal and external audit preparation, including layered process audits (LPAs).
- Create or update work instructions.
- Prepare and present project updates and final results to the team and leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Intermediate Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts, and data cleaning.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong self-learning ability and a willingness to explore new tools, systems, and processes.
