About the role#
The aircraft integration team leads engineering activities for the Global 5500/6500 program. You will work with project engineering and technical specialists to manage product changes from development through testing and entry into service. This role involves contributing directly to projects that support the aircraft program.
What you'll do#
- Support aircraft-level reviews of project plans and solutions.
- Assist in preparing aircraft-level requirements and planning validation and verification activities.
- Review and maintain specifications and interface definitions.
- Participate in and prepare documentation for technical design reviews.
- Conduct investigations into emerging technical topics.
- Document and track action items, decisions, and project risks.
- Develop and execute risk mitigation plans.
- Create documentation to support cross-functional alignment.
- Prepare project status materials for presentation to engineering leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong communication and self-motivation skills.
- Ability to solve problems in ambiguous situations.
- Flexibility to handle changing priorities and a collaborative team approach.
- Fluent English skills (French is a bonus).
- Experience in aerospace, engineering, or manufacturing is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Mississauga, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (must be willing to work from the office 2 times per week).
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
- Note: This role is open to students only, not new graduates. You may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training or work purposes.
