About the role#
This position involves performing general maintenance and repairs within the men's residence halls at Bob Jones University. The role requires availability in two-hour blocks.
What you'll do#
- Replace lights and light bulbs.
- Unplug drains and commodes.
- Repair drawers, doors, and walls.
- Fix blinds and windows.
- Replace ventilation system filters and ceiling tiles.
- Assist with other duties assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student at Bob Jones University or Bob Jones Academy.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and general maintenance terms.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Physical ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 100 lbs and push or pull up to 25 lbs.
