About the role#
This student position supports Exercise and Sport Science faculty in the School of Health Professions. You will help manage laboratory operations, assist with research, and provide fitness assessments for the university community and Greenville residents.
What you'll do#
- Assist faculty with human subject research tasks.
- Manage scheduling for the Human Performance Lab and the Fitness and Wellness Lab.
- Perform health, fitness, and performance testing for faculty, staff, students, and the local community.
- Teach and supervise students on how to use laboratory equipment.
- Lead community initiatives like the Fall Prevention program and Exercise is Medicine On Campus.
- Monitor lab equipment and report maintenance needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Bob Jones University, specifically in Kinesiology or Personal Training.
- Students in Health Sciences, pre-med, pre-PA, or Public Health programs are also eligible.
- Adult CPR and AED certification.
- Strong communication, work ethic, and leadership or collaboration skills.

- This is a paid, part-time, on-site role with rolling start dates.
