About the role#
The BJA Athletic Assistant supports the Academy gym operations. This is a part-time, on-site role for students at Bob Jones University. You will assist with event logistics and maintain a safe environment for participants.
What you'll do#
- Supervise the Academy Gym to ensure safety.
- Manage game preparation and equipment set-up or take-down.
- Assist with gym admission and concessions.
- Operate the scoreboard during games.
- Announce starting line-ups for athletic events.
- Help with bookkeeping for basketball and volleyball games.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Bob Jones University.
- Ability to push or pull up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Familiarity with athletics and gym environments.
- Availability to work during late afternoons and many nights.
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.

- Term: Rolling basis for fall 2025.
