About the role#
This internship reports to the Omnichannel Brand Manager. You will gain experience in both graphic design and marketing coordination. This role provides a foundation for a career in consumer product goods within the food industry. You will work on branded, licensed, and private label products across grocery, mass, and club retail channels.
What you'll do#
- Conduct retailer site audits to review content, analyze competitors, and identify trends.
- Recommend improvements based on your findings.
- Prepare marketing materials and data for the sales team and retail accounts.
- Create visual assets for projects, brands, and campaigns.
- Audit and update existing marketing materials to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with design, brand, project management, and sales teams.
- Build packaging mockups for sales presentations.
- Assist the Junior Graphic Designer with packaging and creative projects.
- Maintain tools and systems used for product launch content.
- Track emerging trends in categories like soup, macaroni and cheese, and prepared meals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint or Canva.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and clear communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A love for creativity and soup.
