About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within our Supply Chain and Transportation department. You will assist with administrative functions that support daily fulfillment while contributing to long-term strategic operations. We provide a structured environment with regular feedback, mentor meetings, and networking opportunities to help you connect classroom concepts to real-world work.
What you'll do#
- Work with your team to understand daily processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for efficiency and reduced complexity.
- Review metrics, data, and industry trends to support a reliable transportation network.
- Contribute to department transformation initiatives and technology improvements.
- Apply classroom learning to problem-solving and operational excellence projects.
- Participate in team meetings and strategic brainstorming sessions.
- Monitor carrier pick-up and delivery performance.
- Assist in reviews and actions regarding overage, shortage, and damaged goods.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately.
- Follow all corporate GMPs, SOPs, and safety policies, including allergen control and HACCP plans.
- Report any suspicious packages, activities, or individuals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.A. degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to learn X3, SharePoint, Tableau, and Safety Chain software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and project management skills.
- A sense of urgency and a positive attitude toward learning.
- Ability to travel.
- Valid personal automobile insurance and a clear motor vehicle record, subject to screening every two years.

- Location: Fall River, Massachusetts.

- Employment: Full-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.
