About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Fall River, Massachusetts. You will join the Supply Chain and Transportation department to support both daily administrative tasks and long-term strategic operations. This role offers the chance to apply academic concepts to real-world scenarios while receiving mentorship and feedback.
What you'll do#
- Learn department processes and procedures.
- Identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce complexity.
- Review metrics, data, and industry trends to support our transportation network.
- Assist with carrier pick up and delivery monitoring.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and Overage, Shortage, and Damaged reviews.
- Work on department transformation initiatives.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately.
- Follow all GMPs, SOPs, and safety policies, including Allergen control and HACCP plan compliance.
- Report any suspicious packages or activities.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a degree candidate at a college or university or have related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A willingness to learn X3, SharePoint, Tableau, and Safety Chain software.
- Strong organizational or project management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Ability to multi-task and change focus as needed.
- A sense of urgency and the ability to solve problems.
- A positive attitude toward learning.
- Attention to detail.

- Location: Fall River, Massachusetts (On-site).
- Term: Rolling.
- Travel: This position requires the ability to travel.
- Requirements: You must pass a pre-employment screening and a Motor Vehicle Record check every two years. You must also maintain personal automobile insurance.
