About the role#
The Campaign Fundraising Director leads staff teams and builds relationships to implement peer to peer fundraising products. You will work within the Los Angeles market to exceed revenue goals that support the mission of Blood Cancer United. This role involves local travel up to 30 percent and requires some evening or weekend work.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the Education Services and Health Research departments to communicate organizational priorities and mission programs.
- Organize local donor cultivation events and prospect high-impact donors for national stewardship.
- Create and execute an annual strategic plan to ensure team revenue targets are met.
- Hire, train, and manage peer to peer fundraising staff.
- Recruit and support high-level volunteer committees and leadership.
- Grow corporate and volunteer relationships across the market.
- Retain and upgrade sponsorship for all fundraising products.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- 7-8 years of relatable experience.
- A demonstrated track record of success.
- Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Comfort with managing detailed operational tasks.

- Compensation: $103,000 to $110,000 annually.
