About the role#
This position supports the daily operations of the Innovation Center at Blinn College. You will help keep the lab open and accessible to students and faculty while ensuring the space remains organized and professional.
What you'll do#
- Oversee the Innovation Center desk.
- Assist users with projects and the operation of equipment like 3D printers, laser cutters, and VR headsets.
- Check equipment in and out for users.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the maker space.
- Help the Innovation Center Manager troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Enforce center policies.
What you'll need#
- Ability to monitor the safe use of equipment.
- Availability to work during posted hours.
- Capability to assist students and faculty with equipment use.
- A professional demeanor suitable for a maker space environment.
- Enrollment in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or Art programs.

- This role is based in Brenham, Texas.
- This is an on-site, paid, full-time position.
