About the role#
This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027 within the Substation functional area. You will gain hands-on experience at an employee-owned engineering, procurement, consulting, and construction firm. The role includes mentorship, training, and networking opportunities with industry experts.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development of electrical engineering deliverables including reports, drawings, specifications, and studies.
- Support engineering analyses, designs, and report production.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to schedule project deliverables.
- Organize and evaluate data while using computer modeling to analyze systems.
- Manage project materials, references, and documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET accredited university in an Electrical Engineering program.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Knowledge of Power Systems, Motors, Transformers, Renewable Energy, Power Delivery, or Three Phase Power Calculations.
- Understanding of engineering design principles and design guides.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective written communication.
- Ability to build relationships across teams.

- This position is based on-site in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
