About the role#
This internship focuses on process documentation within the Technology Product Solutions division. You will assist with knowledge capture methodology and continuous improvement efforts. You will work alongside a coach and mentor to complete a dedicated project, which you will present to management at the end of your term.
What you'll do#
- Identify operational bottlenecks and find opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct employee interviews and job-shadowing to capture critical institutional knowledge.
- Review, update, and digitize existing documentation.
- Apply problem-solving, root cause analysis, and solution validation techniques.
- Assist in developing systems for knowledge capture.
- Understand auditing and compliance requirements for various tasks.
- Participate in on-the-job training, leadership roundtables, and group projects.
- Create and deliver presentations that summarize your findings, application of skills, and results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising senior undergraduate or graduate student.
- Preferred fields of study include Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Operations, or Organizational Leadership.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside sound interpersonal abilities.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure products and applications is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Lawrence, Pennsylvania.
- You must have reliable transportation to the work site.
- The schedule is Monday through Friday, not to exceed 40 hours per week.
