About the role#
This internship focuses on process documentation within the Technology Product Solutions division. You will work on knowledge capture methodology and continuous improvement projects. You will be paired with a coach and mentor to guide your work. Your internship concludes with a project presentation to management.
What you'll do#
- Apply problem solving, root cause analysis, and solution validation.
- Conduct employee interviews and job-shadowing activities to capture institutional knowledge.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Review, update, and digitize documentation.
- Assist in developing knowledge capture systems.
- Learn about auditing and compliance tasks.
- Present your findings and project results to leadership and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising senior or graduate student in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Operations, Organizational Leadership, or a similar field.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with Word, Excel, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure products and applications is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role in Lawrence, Pennsylvania.
- The schedule is Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
- You will need reliable transportation to the office.
