About the role#
We are looking for a student to join our team for an 8 or 12 month co-op position starting in January 2027. This role is based in Mississauga, Ontario. You will manage your own area of responsibility while receiving support from a supervisor and a technical mentor.
What you'll do#
- Assist in baseline schedule development, validation, and maintenance.
- Analyze and estimate scope quantities using construction drawings and calculate durations.
- Update project schedules weekly with the project manager by assessing work completed.
- Collaborate with the Virtual Construction team to build 4D schedules and tracking dashboards.
- Participate in proposal and operation schedule development.
- Perform critical path analysis and identify key project issues.
- Provide detailed schedule variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Present schedule reports to clients and senior management.
- Coordinate schedule inputs from project stakeholders and review subcontractor schedules.
- Ensure effective use of project coding structures like the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Track productivity and assist in performance measurement and trend analysis.
- Support regional teams in setting pursuit strategies.
- Participate in project planning and review meetings.
- Read and utilize construction drawings and specifications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary engineering, architectural, or construction management program.
- Completion of at least one more semester of education following the internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to operate effectively in an evolving environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- A strong sense of urgency and commitment to project goals.
- A collaborative mindset and positive attitude.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Familiarity with MS Project and Primavera P6 is an asset.
- Experience with 4D scheduling and Power BI dashboards is an asset.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical or drug and alcohol test if required for a specific project.
