About the role#
This is a full-time, paid co-op position for the Winter 2027 term, starting in January. You will manage your own areas of responsibility while receiving support from a supervisor and a technical mentor. The role is based on-site in Mississauga, Ontario.
What you'll do#
- Perform project duties related to Digital Construction deployment and design coordination.
- Act as a Model Administrator for assigned projects.
- Maintain and facilitate models covering structure, interior and exterior elements, and MEP systems.
- Collaborate with the site team on logistics plans and schedule visualization.
- Train project staff and subcontractors on software and workflows.
- Coordinate 3D laser scans, point cloud models, and consultant BIM models.
- Assist in the model development process to illustrate solutions to contractor questions.
- Prepare 4D simulations and export project videos.
- Distribute models for change management and compile VDC close-out documentation.
- Assist or lead model coordination meetings and record sign-offs.
- Help administer the BIM Execution Plan and maintain documents for the field.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Engineering, Construction Management, BIM Management, or Architecture program.
- Completion of at least one more semester of education following this internship.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Experience with Revit and Navisworks.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revizto, and Fuzor is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships.
- A sense of urgency and a commitment to achieving project goals.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
