About the role#
Benesch is hiring interns for our Transportation Engineering team. You will work alongside experienced professionals to improve roadway and highway infrastructure. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling application process.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to engineering projects involving highway and roadway design.
- Assist with traffic analysis and plan preparation.
- Gain hands-on experience in engineering design software and construction documentation.
- Participate in mentorship with senior engineers and visit project sites.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program for Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A genuine interest in highway, roadway, or transportation engineering.
- Familiarity with design software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and handle multiple assignments.
- A valid driver license and reliable transportation for travel to project sites.
