About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a Co-op Student or Intern for the Valuations & Modelling team in Toronto. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term, running from May to August. You will work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between the office, client sites, and remote work.
What you'll do#
- Build financial models used for valuations.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for management.
- Join meetings and discussions with company management teams.
- Analyze company and industry strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Determine cash flow risks for companies.
- Research third-party databases for market data, industry trends, and comparable transaction multiples.
- Manage multiple client engagements to meet deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accounting-focused post-secondary program.
- Intent to pursue the CPA designation.
- Strong interest in a career in valuations and eagerness to pursue the CBV designation.
- Commitment to teamwork and providing high-quality client service.
- Excellent communication skills, including writing ability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities with varying deadlines.

- Compensation: $48,000 - $60,000.
