About the role#
The AI Peer Consultant acts as a primary resource for business students who want to integrate Generative AI tools into their academic and professional work. Based in the Technology Commons at the Hankamer School of Business, this position focuses on promoting AI literacy. You will help your peers use AI tools in ways that are creative, effective, and responsible.
What you'll do#
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students regarding AI tools.
- Create guides and examples that demonstrate practical AI applications.
- Help students move past basic prompting to develop career-aligned AI workflows.
- Support peers in applying AI technology to enhance their studies and future readiness.
What you'll need#
- You must be a Business student.
- A solid understanding of Generative AI tools.
- The ability to guide peers on effective and responsible AI usage.
Location & details#
- This is a part-time, paid position located on-site at the Foster Hankamer School of Business in Waco, Texas.
- The role begins in Fall 2026 with an ongoing term.
