About the role#
Baylor University is hiring a Teacher Assistant for the FIN 4350 course. This is a part-time student worker position based in the Finance department. You will provide academic support to faculty and assist with course administration.
What you'll do#
- Grade examinations, assignments, and papers while recording results.
- Proctor exams during class sessions.
- Prepare teaching materials including syllabi, visual aids, answer keys, and supplementary notes.
- Assist faculty members with data gathering for research projects.
- Manage the copying and distribution of classroom materials.
- Answer student questions and provide general course information.
What you'll need#
- You must have completed FIN 4350 Financial Modeling in a previous semester with a grade of at least an A.
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to comply with all University policies and maintain confidentiality.
- Enrollment as a student in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting.
Location & details#
- This position is located at the Paul L. Foster Campus for Business & Innovation in Waco, Texas.
- This is an on-site role with a maximum of 10 hours per week.
- The pay rate is $12 per hour.
