About the role#
Ithaca College is hiring Teaching Assistants for 100 and 200 level mathematics courses. This position is a paid student employment opportunity. Assignments are subject to change based on faculty needs and course enrollment.
What you'll do#
Teaching Assistants support the Department of Mathematics through various tasks. Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting students and faculty during class time
- Providing support to students and faculty outside of class hours
- Holding scheduled hours in the Math Support Center
- Grading homework and tests
- Holding office hours
What you'll need#
- Successful completion of the specific course you are applying to assist
- Ability to assist students and faculty both in and out of the classroom
- Experience that contributes to the diversity of the college is appreciated
