About the role#
This is a temporary, paid internship based at our headquarters in Bismarck, North Dakota. The role supports the writing and communication initiatives of the Communications and Strategic Planning division. You will work part-time during the school year with a schedule that remains flexible around your classes.
What you'll do#
- Identify story ideas with publication editors and writers.
- Schedule and conduct interviews.
- Write content for magazines, newsletters, social media, blogs, and websites.
- Coordinate the review process for communication materials.
- Develop internal content for the intranet and employee engagement platforms.
- Assist with special events and assigned projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in a communications or journalism program, or status as a recent graduate within the last 12 months.
- Completion of at least one year of a two-year program or two years of a four-year program.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong writing, research, and organizational skills.

- Location: Bismarck, North Dakota.
- Term: Fall 2026 through Summer 2027.
- Pay: $21.50 to $23.50 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site.
