About the role#
ITC Holdings Corp. is hiring an intern for the Summer 2027 program. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Novi, Michigan. You will work 40 hours per week over the 12-week program, gaining experience in marketing and communications through practical assignments.
What you'll do#
- Write and edit communications materials, including newsletter articles, brochures, and presentation decks.
- Create content for digital channels such as the company website, intranet, social media, and video projects.
- Assist the media relations team by researching reporters, updating contact lists, and monitoring industry news.
- Help coordinate internal and external events like employee meetings and open houses.
- Manage and organize the company library of photography and video footage.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or Public Relations.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Intermediate knowledge of the AP Style Guide.
- Experience with social media platforms including LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Please note that ITC does not provide visa sponsorship.
