High School Internship Sterling

About the role#

The High School Internship program at Banner Health offers students professional work experience and insight into the healthcare industry. Interns work under the direct supervision of a department manager to expand their knowledge of practices and procedures within their chosen field of study. This is a paid, part-time, temporary position scheduled for 20 hours per week over a 10-week period during the summer of 2026.

What you'll do#

• Gain exposure to a variety of roles related to your area of study.
• Participate in work teams, contribute to ongoing initiatives, and assist with various departmental tasks.
• Conduct research and prepare reports on assigned topics or projects.
• Collaborate as a team member to provide service to internal and external customers.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a high school senior.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• General knowledge related to the department or area of study.
• Proficiency with personal computers and common software may be required depending on the specific assignment.

• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
