About the role#
The High School Internship program provides professional work experience and insight into the healthcare industry. Interns work under the direct supervision of a department manager to expand their knowledge of practices and procedures related to their area of study. This is a paid, part-time position scheduled for 20 hours per week over a 10-week term during Summer 2026.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to a variety of roles related to your field of study.
- Participate on work teams and contribute to unit initiatives and projects.
- Perform research and prepare reports on assigned topics.
- Collaborate with team members to provide service to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a high school senior.
- General knowledge related to the department or area of study.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform tasks as needed by the assigned unit.

- Location: Sterling, Colorado.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
