About the role#
The Banner Health Internship Program provides professional work experience within the healthcare industry. This is a temporary, part-time position lasting 10 weeks, requiring 20 hours of work per week. You will work under the direct supervision of a department manager to gain practical knowledge and insight into healthcare operations.
What you'll do#
- Participate on work teams and contribute to ongoing projects.
- Research assigned topics and prepare reports.
- Provide service to internal and external customers as a team member.
- Develop your knowledge through exposure to various roles related to your area of study.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current high school senior.
- You should have general knowledge related to your department or area of study.
- You must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with common software and personal computers may be required depending on the assignment.
Location & details#
- Location: East Morgan County Hospital, Brush, Colorado.
- Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site or remote, depending on the department.
- Schedule: Shifts are part-time at 20 hours per week, with a minimum of 3 to 4 hours per shift.
