About the role#
Balfour Beatty US is seeking students for Intern and Co-Op positions in Atlanta, Georgia. These are paid, full-time opportunities available for the Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Summer 2027 terms. You will work on-site to support construction projects and gain practical experience in project management and operations.
What you'll do#
- Manage project budgets by controlling expenditures and coordinating billings.
- Coordinate submittals, deliveries, and shop drawings with the Superintendent.
- Monitor weekly and monthly status reports, change orders, and meeting minutes.
- Maintain RFI logs and change request logs.
- Update as-built plans with project changes, clarifications, and directives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering program.
- Ability to learn new skills and knowledge quickly.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with word processing and spreadsheets.
- Good self-organizational and management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
