About the role#
This Data Science Student Experience at Bobcat Company focuses on generative AI and task automation. You will work on building intelligent agents, designing knowledge bases, and managing cloud deployments. This position is open for the Winter 2027 term and requires an on-site presence in Buford, Georgia. We offer both internship (4 months) and co-op (8 months) options.
What you'll do#
- Translate business pain points into functional specifications for intelligent agents.
- Implement natural language understanding and dialogue management using large language models.
- Build and test REST and GraphQL endpoints to connect agents to external data sources.
- Design data models and schemas to store agent knowledge.
- Deploy AI agents using Docker and cloud environments like AWS ECS or EKS.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace).
- Familiarity with Python and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, ETL pipelines, and data-processing libraries like pandas or Spark.
- Experience building or using REST or GraphQL services.
- Ability to commit to the full 4-month internship or 8-month co-op term.
