About the role#
As a Packaging Engineering Intern, you will work on the design, development, and analysis of semiconductor packaging technologies. You will join cross-functional teams to create solutions that support our analog and embedded processing products. This role involves working across various organizations to help advance our packaging capabilities.
What you'll do#
- Interface across different work areas to analyze semiconductor packaging technologies.
- Contribute to the development of internal and external solutions, including Wirebond, Flip Chip, Modules, and SIPs.
- Advance packaging efforts through material, mechanical, thermal, and electrical characterization.
- Participate in projects at various stages of readiness to support product miniaturization and performance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Masters or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Optical Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Strong fundamentals in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and stress analysis.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
