About the role#
Baker Newman Noyes is hiring Tax and Audit Interns for Winter and Summer 2027. You will work with professional teams to gain experience in public accounting. The firm offers a business-casual environment, mentorship, and training programs.
What you'll do#
Tax Interns focus on:
- Preparing federal and state tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations.
- Organizing financial information into work papers.
- Using research tools to determine the treatment of client transactions.
Audit Interns focus on:
- Assisting with audits for medium and large companies across various industries.
- Testing financial transactions for reporting accuracy.
- Verifying compliance with policies and internal controls.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for accounting or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
Location & details#
- Location: Woburn, Massachusetts.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Compensation: $30 to $33 per hour.
- Terms: Winter 2027 (January to April) or Summer 2027.
