About the role#
Baker Newman Noyes is hiring Tax and Audit Interns for Winter and Summer 2027. These are full-time, paid, on-site positions based in Manchester, New Hampshire. You will work alongside professionals to gain hands-on experience in accounting, tax preparation, and audit procedures.
What you'll do#
Tax Interns focus on preparing federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and trusts. You will gather financial data, organize it into work papers, and use research tools to determine the treatment of client transactions.
Audit Interns assist in conducting audits for medium and large companies. You will analyze and test financial transactions to verify proper reporting, ensure compliance with policies, and evaluate the adequacy of internal controls.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for accounting or a similar field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.

- Location: Manchester, New Hampshire.
- Modality: On-site.
- Terms: Winter 2027 (January through April) for Tax roles and Summer 2027 for Audit roles.
