About the role#
The HR Intern (Bilingual) provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team while gaining hands-on experience across multiple HR disciplines. This role offers exposure to recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training, and HR systems. Please note that applicants are not allowed to own any kind of birds due to the risk of disease transmission.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team.
- Translate conversations, forms, policies, training materials, and communications between English and Spanish.
- Assist with job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
- Prepare employment documentation and personnel files while ensuring records are accurate.
- Support new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Assist with data entry and maintenance in HR systems.
- Help coordinate meetings, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times.
What you'll need#
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
