About the role#
We are looking for a Water Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, on-site internship based in California. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support projects related to water resources and wastewater infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning, design, and development of engineering drawings for water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Assist with planning activities by collecting data, performing basic calculations, and helping evaluate project alternatives.
- Prepare materials for reports, permit applications, and presentations.
- Draft content, update project documentation, and create basic graphics and visual aids.
- Gather information to contribute to technical reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a technical field.
- Completion of at least 60 hours toward a Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by Summer 2027.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Basic computer skills for entering data into spreadsheets and databases.
