About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Process Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is located in our Bothell, Washington office. You will work on-site, gaining hands-on experience by supporting our engineering teams on power plant projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist process and mechanical engineers with the design, analysis, and optimization of industrial systems and equipment.
- Support the development and review of process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and other engineering drawings.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to share project findings.
- Help with project planning tasks, including material tracking, scheduling, and monitoring progress.
What you'll need#
- You must have completed at least 60 hours toward a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- You should have basic computer skills for entering data into spreadsheets and databases.

- Compensation: $25 to $31 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
